Jobjini Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us") provides a software platform designed specifically for the construction and roofing industry. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal and operational data when you use the Jobjini Software Platform (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, phone number, and company credentials.
Operational & Project Data: Job schedules, customer details, project measurements, site photos, and files uploaded to our storage.
Financial Data: Payment history and billing details (processed securely via Stripe).
Geolocation Data: Job site addresses and mileage tracking via GPS coordinates.
Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and platform usage patterns.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide a functional and intelligent project management experience:
Core Functionality: To manage your schedules, maintain database records, and provide secure storage for project files.
AI-Enhanced Features: We utilize Google Generative AI to analyze and extract measurement data from project reports and photos to improve the accuracy of your estimates.
Communication: To send automated SMS updates, emails, and push notifications regarding project status and account alerts.
Mapping & Logistics: To provide job site navigation and precise mileage calculations.
4. Data Sharing and Sub-processors
We do not sell your data. To provide a reliable Service, we utilize specialized third-party sub-processors. These parties are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of your data:
Infrastructure & Storage: We use Supabase, Vercel, and AWS S3 for database management, application hosting, and secure file/photo storage.
Communication Services: We use Twilio, Resend, SendGrid, and OneSignal to facilitate SMS, email delivery, and push notifications.
Payment Processing: All financial transactions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
Geolocation & Mapping: We use Google Maps for address verification and mileage tracking.
AI & Intelligence: We use Google Generative AI for the intelligent extraction of data from project documents and photos.
Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to monitor platform performance and improve the user experience.
5. Third-Party Business Integrations
The Service allows you to connect with external tools such as QuickBooks, CompanyCam, and Google Drive. We only access data from these services if you explicitly authorize the integration. Data retrieved from these integrations is protected with the same security measures as native Jobjini data, though its use is also governed by the privacy policies of those respective providers.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Standard Retention: We retain your data for the duration of your active subscription to ensure you have access to your project history.
180-Day Grace Period: Following the cancellation of an account, we retain your data for 180 days. This allows you to reinstate your account or export critical project data without loss of information.
Right to Erasure: You may request the immediate and permanent deletion of all your account data at any time by contacting our support team.
7. Children’s Privacy
Minors and Apprentices (Ages 16-17) Jobjini is a professional B2B platform. While we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, we recognize that apprentices aged 16 and 17 may use the Platform as employees or contractors.
Supervision & Consent: Use by individuals aged 16 or 17 is permitted only where the Account Administrator (18+) has obtained all necessary internal authorizations. By allowing a minor to use the Platform, the Account Administrator represents that they have the authority to provide consent for the collection and processing of that minor's data.
International Transfer: All data, including that of minors, is processed and stored in the United States (AWS US-WEST-2). This data is subject to U.S. laws, and the minor’s privacy rights may differ from those in their home jurisdiction.
8. Security of Your Data
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures, including encryption for data in transit (SSL/TLS) and data at rest. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Under Canadian privacy laws, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and request corrections to any inaccuracies.
